CAT SPAY & NEUTER CLINIC
Starting 5 Dec - In an effort to control pet over population and lessen the financial burden on pet owners, effective Monday December 5, we will begin a six days a week spay neuter clinic for cats. $40.00 for a neuter and $50.00 for a spay to include rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and a basic examination! SUPERBOWL BBQ THROW DOWN
Feb 5 - Annual Super Bowl throw down on Sunday, February 5 from 11 to game time. Danny's BBQ will challenge Red Bons BBQ in the parking lot at Divine Fish House, 3993 Hwy 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. Sponsors include Murrells Inlet Yacht Club and Divine's. The Throw Down will be judged by local chefs.
A plate of BBQ with sides is $7. All proceeds go to care for the abused and abandoned pets at Coastal Animal Rescue, the 501(c)3 all-volunteer, no-kill shelter in Murrells Inlet. Come early to enjoy great eats and music, and meet some of the four-pawed friends from the shelter looking for a permanent home. Questions please call 651-2663.
PETSMART ADOPTION CENTER
Feb 13-26 - Volunteers from Coastal Animal Rescue will be manning the Adoption Center at PetSmart during this period. Stop in and see all the wonderful kittens and cats just waiting for a permanent, loving home. Volunteers will answer any questions and assist with the adoption application. For additional information call 685-2851.
HORRY-GEORGETOWN HOME SHOW
February 24-25 - We're bringing some four-legged friends with us! We'll be at the Horry-Georgetown Home Show on February 24 and 25 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center when the Horry-Georgetown Builders Association sponsors Coastal Animal Rescue. Please stop by to say hi and meet the furry friends we've brought with us who are available for adoption.
WE RETURN TO WACHESAW PLANTATION CLUB!
October 22 - It's exciting to publically announce that the exclusive course is hosting our 2nd annual tournament on OCTOBER 22, 2012. It was a tremendous success for the animals last year and a great day on the very private course for the golfers. Plans are already taking shape. Another car from Grand Strand Nissan and even more than the $14,000 in prizes won by golfers last year! We're very proud that WPDE-TV continues as CAR's media sponsor. Spread the word, practice putting & check the website often; the best is yet to come!
