Dr. Meisen Mok was born and raised around the Morristown area of New Jersey. He started pursuing animal interests through working with wildlife at a local museum since junior high school, and throughout high school at a small animal hospital. Dr. Mok received his Bachelor of Sciences in Zoology from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 and then his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1997. During his undergraduate studies, he gained experience both in the large animal field and in academia at a heartworm research laboratory. He also became active in the field of racing Greyhound adoption and Greyhound-related veterinary care. After graduation from Colorado State University, he worked as an associate veterinarian at a small animal practice in Colorado for over 12 years practicing medicine and surgery. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine especially preventative medicine and the educational aspects of veterinary medicine for the betterment of our beloved pets. Dr. Mok enjoys spending his free time with his wife Irene, daughter Abby, and their dachshunds Tubby and Pretzel.
