FOUNDED TO LOVE AND CARE FOR GOD'S ANIMALS THAT ARE IN NEED OF HELP.
Coastal Animal Rescue, a 501(c) 3 organization, is proud to be the only cage-free, no-kill, 100 % volunteer cat and dog shelter in South Carolina.  Our mission is to place rescued cats and dogs into loving, permanent homes; to provide a safe and loving home for unwanted cats and dogs  in a unique, cage-free environment; to prevent pet over-population through spaying and neutering; and to educate the public about responsible pet ownership.

Since its founding, we have saved over 1,700 cats and 147 dogs (not counting the animals we have helped to be spayed and neutered!)  Currently the shelter has about 437 cats and 21 dogs, as some are fostered in homes by responsible pet parents.

We need your help with donations of cat food and cat litter.  Dry purina cat food in the blue bag and any canned cat food will really help.  Litter-pine pellets or yesterdays news cat littler will really help
In an effort to control pet over population and lessen the financial burden on pet owners, we now offer a weekly spay neuter clinic for cats. $50.00 for a neuter and $60.00 for a spay. Call 843 652-4500
