Coastal Animal Rescue, a 501(c) 3 organization, is proud to be the only no-cage, no-kill, 100 % volunteer cat and dog sanctuary in South Carolina. Our mission is to place rescued cats and dogs into loving, permanent homes; to provide a safe and loving home for unwanted cats and dogs  in a unique, no-cage facility; to prevent pet over-population through spaying and neutering; and to educate the public about responsible pet ownership.

Since its founding 5 years ago, we have saved over 1,000 cats and 50 dogs (not counting the animals we have helped to be spayed and neutered!)

We have recently hired Dr.  Meisen Mok,  DVM of Colorado.We welcome him and his family to Coastal South Carolina.  Stay tuned!
